Brown Industrial Control Systems Limited recognises and accepts its responsibility as an employer for providing a safe and healthy work place and working environment for all its employees.

We will take all reasonable measures to meet this responsibility, paying particular attention to the provision and maintenance of a safety management system which enables the on-going assessment & management of hazards to which employees may be exposed, equipment and plans and systems of work which are safe and without risk to health, safe arrangements for the use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances, sufficient information, instruction, training and supervision to enable all employees to identify, minimise and manage hazards and to contribute positively to their own safety at work, a working environment which is safe and without risk to health, adequate welfare facilities and arrangements.  

We aim to ensure that Partners, Managers and staff are aware of their own responsibilities for health and safety, employees are aware that they are required to work safely and to co-operate with managers in all matters that affect their health and safety at work.   

Brown Industrial Control Systems Limited recognises its duties to persons other than its own employees in the conduct of its business, with particular regard to the sufficiency of the designs we prepare as control system designers etc., and the incorporation within these designs of arrangements for the health, safety and welfare of the users of finished designs insofar as it is reasonably practicable to make such arrangements at the design stage, and in the preparation of specifications for materials and workmanship, the monitoring of the construction of the design through the adoption of good safety practices where we have been allocated responsibility and are legally able to do so under the terms of the contract of the works.   

A copy of the Safety Policy is available to all employees and is held in all offices for easy reference. It will be reviewed, added to or modified from time to time and may be supplemented in appropriate cases by further statements relating to the work in particular on the grounds of employees.

All of our engineers hold CCNSG safety passports.
